“

I can’t recommend Chris highly enough whether on a professional level or personal. If I had a project where I needed an audit doing around elite practice, processes, culture and environment he would be my first call. Up to date on all the modern systems whilst having experience and contacts from the highest level after so many years of leading departments. Chris will be a high value to any organization that needs support in the support services area and especially in the area of medical. A problem solver who is proactive. On a personal level he also treated me many times! Most notably after climbing Mont Blanc with a stress fracture and having a climb in the himalayas coming up he guided me back to fitness and kept me psychologically in a strong place and somehow kept me patient!
Whether your a sports organization, association, individual athlete, athlete with goals or the man on the street I would recommend Chris, and I won’t be the only one.

Chris is a highly skilled and highly qualified physiotherapist who has had many years experience at the highest levels of English football. I worked closely with Chris throughout his time at Norwich City, and can only be hugely complimentary about his work as a medical practitioner, and also himself as a person. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and, in my opinion, has proven to be amongst the best physios in the country. Accordingly, I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Chris as a priority if I needed any medical provision.

Neil Adams (Previous Technical Director Norwich City)

I consider Chris to be one of the best Physiotherapist’s I have ever worked with. He was available 24/7 when necessary and always went above and beyond to find the best solutions for treatment or surgery.

After 15 years as a professional footballer, where I’ve experienced physios & departments at both numerous clubs & international level, I can comfortably say that Chris is by far and away the best I have come across. Chris’ work ethic is unparalleled, his passion & care is clear for everyone to see and his ability as a practitioner is second to none. In the 4 years we worked together, the department he ran was easily the most elite & professional I’ve ever came across. Whether he was dealing with managers, players, or his own staff he was always strong and consistent & was unbelievable at managing not only his team but the various pieces of the puzzle you face every day in a football club. His standards are of the highest level, and I can only think of how much further I may have got in my career if I had worked with someone like him sooner

Chris is the best in the industry. Knowledge is second to none, and the application in a rehab setting is outstanding. Throughout my rehab from a chondroplasty for a chondral knee issue, Chris advised through every stage and guided the way as to exactly how and when to load with strength work, progression of running volumes, and when to let the knee adapt. Highly recommend for any pathology, especially sports specific.

Glyn Lewis (Head of Physical Performance Norwich)
“

I’ve worked with Chris for a while now and he has helped me through a lot of problems I’ve faced. He’s a top professional and the best I’ve worked with.

Chris joined Norwich a couple of months after I signed, so he was head physio for pretty much my whole time at the club. I’ve worked closely with him through some tough injuries, and he played a massive part in getting me back on the pitch every time. I’ve had complex groin surgery, a full hamstring repair, and an Achilles rupture that nearly ended my career and came with a lot of complications. Through all of that, Chris led from the front and gave me total confidence in every stage of my rehab. It’s not just the big injuries either, it’s the day to day detail. Chris is top class when it comes to managing loads, preventing issues, and making sure you’re in the best shape possible every day. I’ve got no doubt I wouldn’t have come back the way I did without Chris and the medical team at Norwich, with Chris playing a huge role in that. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Grant Hanley (Hibernian FC)
“

Where to start, this was probably my toughest time in my career during my spell with Norwich during 22/23 season. Turning up on your first day injured at your new club is far from ideal, especially when you have no idea how it happened. Chris was not only reassuring but from the moment I stepped into the building he treated me as his own player rather than the loan player I ultimately was, it could have been easy to send me away to other physios or not put the time and effort in to help me recover and contribute. He not only didn’t do that but put timeless hours and emotional/physical effort into me, again a player who from the end of the season wouldn’t be anything to do with the club anymore. It not only shows a testament to Chris as a Physio but as a human being of an elite standing. In what was a very difficult and almost career changing injury for myself his expertise and knowledge was second to none and the care and still on-going care if I needed anything has been something I haven’t experienced in football during what has been a 12-year professional career so far. I can only thank Chris for his hard work and care of me during the season at Norwich and I will always remember and be grateful for the care he gave me.
